Here we crush concrete at a building demolition site in Kauhajoki, about 2000 m2 of buildings were demolished to give space for a new school. The concrete was first pulverised to separate most of the rebar from it, after that the Hartl PC1265 crusher was used to crush the concrete and separate the metals even further. The final products are 0-150mm concrete gravel and clean metal, both are good products to use again as building materials.

As you can see by this video, a controlled demolition looks and sounds exactly like the WTC videos. Not. This video shows the destruction of the JL Hudson Department store. At 439 ft. tall Hudson's is the tallest building & the tallest structural steel building ever imploded. At 2.2 million square feet, Hudson's is the largest single building ever imploded. Listen to the audio, notice how many charges had to be set off before anything even started falling. WTC fell from structural damage, failing due to steel that was weakened by physical force and fire. WTC7 was weakened when the top 15 stories of WTC1 sheared off and fell, mostly intact, on top of WTC6 and WTC7, cutting a large hole...

This is a video of some good friends tearing down an old barn in my backyard. The barn was in bad shape and looked like it would fall down in a strong wind. We found out that it was a lot stronger than it looked. About six hours later, the barn was down, with the help a sturdy Toyota pickup truck, some heavy chains, sledge hammers, and a chainsaw. They even managed to save my satelite dish. I set the whole thing to music - a movement from New World Symphony by Dvorak.

This is part 1 of the Demolition of Keller's Store on Aug 2nd 2005. This was a great historical structure in the Senecaville Village since the early 1800's. It was built by Mr Spaid and his signature in the building was a vine of leaves, but the leaves were shaped like spades in a deck of cards. Some of the bricks used to build th 12 inch walls were fired in kilns on the premises while others were sunbaked by slaves on location. Mr Herald Harding owned the building through the greater part of the 1900's and he planned to make apartments in the entire building. The area being demolished here was the kitchen area at the northeast corner of the structure.
